Meizu Pro 6 Plus appears on Geekbench with 4GB RAM and Android 6.0

Meizu seems to be working on multiple smartphones. It already has the high-end Meizu X and the mid-range Meizu M5 Note in the development pipeline. The company has confirmed that it will announce the Meizu X on November 30 and the Meizu M5 Note on the 6th of December. We exclusively reported the appearance of the M3X smartphone in Geekbench’s database with a MediaTek Helio P20 processor and 3GB of RAM. Now, another high-end smartphone – Meizu Pro 6 Plus – in the Pro series from the company has been spotted.

Meizu_Pro_6 _PlusThe Meizu Pro 6 Plus has appeared in Geekbench benchmark’s online database, but the exact processor model hasn’t been revealed. We only know that it’s an eight-core processor that’s ticking at the heart of the Pro 6 Plus, and that it is clocked at 1.4GHz. The smartphone has 4GB of RAM and is running Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow as per the information extracted from the listing. The Meizu Pro 6 Plus was rumoured to launch along with the Pro 6s but it wasn’t.

The smartphone might come with a 5.7-inch display and an Exynos 8890 SoC from Samsung. The Meizu Pro 6s and the Pro 6 are the current-generation flagships from the Chinese smartphone company. Also, the Meizu Pro 7 is rumoured to launch early next year, and it is being expected that it could be the first bezel-less smartphone from Meizu. Currently, the event which we are looking forward to from the company is for the launch of the Meizu X with Flyme 6 scheduled on the 30th of November in China.
