LeEco Cool1C with 13-megapixel 4K-capable camera launched in China

Chinese electronics giant LeEco has announced the launch of the LeEco Cool1C in China. Expected to go on sale in China starting December 6, the smartphone, available in silver colour, will be priced at RMB 899 (approximately ₹8942). Most notable among its features is the 13-megapixel 4K (30fps) capable rear camera, with an F2.0 aperture.

The newly announced LeEco Cool1C sports a single 13-megapixel rear camera as compared to the Cool1 Dual, which featured a dual-camera setup at the rear. The two phones share most of the other specifications and features though. The phone comes in a metal unibody design, with a fingerprint scanner below the rear camera, and is almost identical to the Cool1 Dual in terms of design.

The Cool1C’s front camera has an 8-megapixel sensor with an F2.2 aperture. Powered by a 4060mAh battery, the LeEco Cool1C packs a Snapdragon 652 oct-core processor, and is available with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage or 4GB of RAM with 32 or 64GB of internal storage. The smartphone has a 5.5-inch Full HD display.


In terms of connectivity, the smartphone has dual SIM slots, supports 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.1, dual-band Wi-Fi, and also supports USB Type-C connectivity for charging and data transfer. It also has a 3.5mm audio jack. The phone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with EUI 5.8 on top.

It is unclear if the phone will be launched in other regions besides China at this time.
