The Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro, which was leaked ahead of its official launch and subsequently launched in China last year, will soon enter the Indian market. The premium smartphone from Samsung will be the first Galaxy C series device to be launched in India. The South Korean company is prepping for the launch of the Gear S3 and the Galaxy C9 Pro in India, and we expect them to be official by the end of this month.
Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro: Specifications
Samsung is focussing on on-the-go entertainment with the Galaxy C9 Pro. It features a large 6.0-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display and stereo loudspeakers. It is equipped with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 processor, 6GB RAM, 64GB of internal storage space, and a microSD card slot. It has a fingerprint sensor embedded into its home button and it has a new kind of antenna with a subtle design.
In the imaging department, the Galaxy C9 Pro uses 16MP cameras on the back and the front. The rear-facing 16MP camera features phase-detection autofocus, f/1.9 aperture, dual-tone LED flash, HDR, and 1080p video recording. The front-facing 16MP camera on the device has an aperture of f/1.9 and 1080p video recording. It misses out on Always On Display, IP68 certification, and Samsung Pay, though.
The Galaxy C9 Pro features dual-SIM card slot and 4G LTE (with VoLTE). Other connectivity features include dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac/a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, GPS, stereo FM Radio, Bluetooth 4.2 (with A2DP and LE), a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The 6.9mm thin metal device runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, and comes packed with a large 4,000mAh battery with Adaptive Fast Charge technology.
Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro: Expected Pricing
Samsung is currently selling the Galaxy C9 Pro in China in three colours: Black, Gold, and Rose Gold. It is currently priced in the country at CNY 3,199 (?31,407), and we expect it to be priced below the ?35,000 mark in India.
