Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 to debut with Exynos 7420 chipset, 4GB of RAM and USB Type-C port

Samsung Galaxy S2 Series

Samsung is in the limelight for its 2017 flagship Galaxy S8’s launch around Mobile World Congress 2017. Along with the smartphones, the Korean giant will also introduce a new Android tablet – Samsung Galaxy Tab S3. However, it is unlikely that the Galaxy Tab S3 and other tablets will be announced at the MWC 2017.

Though the tablet sales and shipments continue to dwindle, Samsung marches ahead with its 2017 tablet plans. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 with model number SM-T820 will be the first tablet to arrive in the new series. The same tablet’s 4G LTE supporting version will carry SM-T825 model number.

Samsung will house the Exynos 7420 mobile chipset paired with 4GB of RAM inside the new Galaxy Tab S3. The tablet will have a UFS2.0 technology supporting storage for faster read and write performance of the multimedia files.

The Galaxy Tab S3 will have a USB Type-C port at the bottom to charge the tablet and also for data transfer. Apart from that, the Galaxy Tab S3’s Home button integrates fingerprint sensor.

Without doubt, these new tablets will run the Android 7.0 Nougat and the latest version of the Samsung’s Magazine UX on top of it.

Usually, Apple announces its new iPad in the first quarter every year, and Samsung follows that with new Tab series a couple of months later.

There is no absolute word on whether the new Galaxy Tab S3 will make a debut at MWC 2017.
