Samsung today officially confirmed an event at MWC 2017 which is to take place on February 26. Although the company usually launches a new Galaxy S series of smartphones at MWC, this time we will see a new Galaxy Tab 3, according to the teaser.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 is expected to feature a 9-6-inch QXGA Super AMOLED display. Under the hood, it might run on a Snapdragon 820 SoC paired with Adreno 530 GPU. It might pack 4GB of RAM, offering a 32GB/64GB internal storage. The Tab 3 is rumoured to run on Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box.
In the imaging department, the Tab 3 might offer a 12-megapixel rear facing camera and a 5-megapixel front facing camera. Connectivity-wise, it will have 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, GPS and a microUSB port.
The company will live stream the entire event which can be accessed from the official site. The event is scheduled to begin at 7pm CET (or 11.30pm IST) on February 26 at Palau de Congressos de Catalunya, in Barcelona. Stay tuned with us as we bring you more details about the event.
