LG is expected to launch two new smartwatches at the Google’s Android Wear 2.0 event on February 9. Press images of the LG Watch Style have already surfaced online which give a fair view of the new stylish smartwatch. A blurry shot of the LG Watch Sport also surfaced online along with a flurry of details.

The LG Watch Sport, as the name suggests, is targeted at fitness and sports enthusiasts. The Watch Sport will have a slightly bigger display compared the the Watch Style. LG has incorporated a fitness activity tracker and also loaded the smartwatch with a heart rate sensor.

LG’s Watch Sport will integrate GPS for location mapping and also NFC for quick pairing as well as Android Pay. The interesting bit is that it will also support LTE, mostly via a Nano SIM. There will be a digital crown and two other buttons on the right of the Watch Sport.

As per a new rumour, the LG Watch Sport will sell starting $349 (approximately ₹23,900) which is very close to the Apple Watch Series 2’s base model that costs $369 (approximately ₹25,000). Meanwhile, the LG Watch Style is a more bare-boned version, which starts selling at $249 (approximately₹17,000).

Both the LG Watch Style and the LG Watch Sport will run Android Wear 2.0. We expect LG to share more details about the availability of both these smartwatches on February 9.
