Xiaomi launched the successor to last year’s Redmi Note 3, the Redmi Note 4, in India a few days ago. For its first two sales, Xiaomi offered 3GB/4GB RAM variants of the smartphone which were priced at ₹10,999 and ₹12,999 respectively. Now, a 2GB RAM variant of the smartphone with 32GB of internal storage will go on sale from February 3, priced at ₹9,999.
To recall, the Redmi Note 4 sports a 5.5-inch display and is powered by a Snapdragon 625 SoC paired with Adreno 506 GPU. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and also comes with a rear facing fingerprint sensor similar to that of the Redmi Note 3.
The smartphone features a 13-megapixel primary camera which has PDAF, F2.0 aperture, and a dual tone LED flash. The front facing camera is of 5-megapixels and has an F2.0 aperture. Connectivity-wise, it offers 4G with VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The smartphone boasts of a 4100mAh large battery and is available in three colours that include: Gold, Grey and Matte Black.
The company had created a new record during the first sale of the Redmi Note 4 where almost 250,000 units were sold in just a little under 10 minutes, as disclosed by the company. While the 2GB variant of the Redmi Note 4 will go on sale at 12pm tomorrow i.e February 3 on mi.com, the device will also be available in a 3GB/4GB variant in the sale.
