Lenovo-owned Motorola will be introducing the new Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus at the MWC 2017 later this month. Last week, the promotional material and details confirmed a lot of details about both the handsets. Now a Brazilian website grabbed live images of the Moto G5 in action and shown in its full glory.
Last week, we reported about spotting the Moto G5’s photos and other information online. Now the live pictures of the Moto G5 surface online.
Sporting a metal body, Motorola Moto G5 has a 5-inch Full HD display offering a 441PPI pixel density. A quad-core 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset powers it with Adreno 505 GPU. The GPU chip is not exactly the best or top of the line, but it should be able to handle most games.
The Moto G5 will run Android 7.0 Nougat under the Motorola’s Pure UI out of the box. One of the images shows that. The Home button will integrate a fingerprint scanner, and it’s not clear whether the button will be clickable.
For imaging, the Moto G5 packs a 13-megapixel camera at the rear and 5-megapixel camera on the front. The onboard 32GB storage should be enough for the users. Else they can always use an upto 128GB microSD card.
Motorola Moto G5 packs 2,800 mAh battery and we assume it will support Turbo Charging feature. Motorola Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus is set to launch on February 26, a day before Mobile World Congress 2017 kicks off. Following that, the company is expected to release the new Moto G5 and the Moto G5 Plus in India and other select markets in March.
