Popular mobile photo-sharing app Instagram has rolled out a new update with which you can combine up to 10 photos and videos in one post, and swipe through to see all of them.
You will now see a new icon to select multiple photos and videos when uploading to your feed. There are also options to control exactly how your post will look. To change the order of the photos and videos in your post, you can simply tap and hold. You can apply filters to all images in the post at once or then edit one by one. For now, these posts will be square only, and they will have just a single caption. The first photo or video of your post will show up on your profile grid with a little icon, indicating that there’s more to see. Blue dots at the bottom of these posts will let you know you can swipe to see more. You can like and comment on these posts just like a regular post.
This update is available as part of 10.9 for iOS in the Apple App store and for Android on Google Play. The feature was in testing phase earlier this month, and was spotted in Instagram’s beta app as part of version 10.7.0 for Android.
