The Samsung Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8+ are two flagship devices that the company will introduce this year. We’ve already reported about most of the specifications from the multiple leaks that have been popping up now and then. Now the entire specs sheet of the Galaxy S8+ has been revealed by the renowned leakster Evan Blass. The sheet, more or less, confirms the same set of specifications that we have been hearing from a long time.
As expected, the smartphone will sport a 6.2-inch Quad HD display. The SoC model hasn’t been mentioned in the leaked sheet, but the Snapdragon 835 and the Exynos 9 series SoC, the 8895 is likely to be under the hood. The Galaxy S8+ will pack 4GB of RAM with 64GB of onboard storage which can be expanded via a microSD card slot.
The Galaxy S8+ will feature a 12-megapixel dual pixel camera, with an 8-megapixel camera at the front. It will have an iris scanner, a rear-facing fingerprint sensor, and 4G LTE connectivity. Apart from these, the device is also reportedly IP68 water and dust resistant and compatible with Samsung Pay. The smartphone is expected to come with wireless charging support and earphones tuned by AKG.
The company is going to be present at MWC 2017 where it will launch the Galaxy Tab 3. At the same time, a short teaser for Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ is expected to be aired and the launch date of both of these smartphones will be announced.
