Razer Power Bank with Quick Charge 3.0 supports laptops too

Razer, the gaming peripherals maker, introduces a Power Bank that is compatible with smartphones, tablets, and laptops too. The new Razer Power Bank packs 12,800 mAh battery capacity and supports fast charging. Its size is a bit unwieldy than your average slim power banks.

The Razer Power Bank features one USB Type-C and two USB Type A ports for charging devices at a time. The USB Type-C port is also capable of charging laptops such as the Razer Blade.

Razer has implemented Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 and Apple fast charge technologies to quickly juice up the supporting smartphones and tablets. That means, you can juice up your Android smartphones and iPhone quickly while waiting for your flight. Its built-in device detection setting automatically identifies the connected device and aligns its fast charging capabilities accordingly.

Razer Blade Stealth 45W Adapter can charge the Power Bank in two hours but is sold separately for $50 (Rs 3,349). Other than that, you can use up to 3A charging adapter to juice it up.

Min-Liang Tan, Razer co-founder and CEO commented:

The Razer Power Bank enables true mobility for users who can now quickly and smartly charge their laptop, phone, and tablet at the same time when an outlet isn’t an option.

Razer Power Bank comes in a CNC aluminium casing and black colour only. Despite the massive capacity, the Power Bank weighs only 335 grams. Razer bundles a USB Type-C cable and a USB Type-C to USB Type-A cable along with the Power Bank. Razer does not bundle any power adapter with it.

Razer will sell it for $150 (Rs 10,050) starting March in United States, Canada, the UK, Germany, and France.
