Micromax has launched the Canvas Mega 2 Plus, a successor to the Canvas Mega 2 launched last year, according to Mumbai based smartphone retailer Mahesh Telecom.

Featuring a 6-inch qHD (quarter High Definition – 960×540) IPS display, the Micromax Canvas Mega 2 Plus is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor of unknown make, and comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage space. The smartphone sports an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. It has a 3000mAh battery. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0, and GPS/AGPS. The 4G VoLTE smartphone runs Android Marshmallow, and is bundled with a Reliance Jio SIM.
The Micromax Canvas Mega 2 Plus is expected to retail for ₹7,499 across offline retail stores in the country.
