OPPO F3 and F3 Plus to be unveiled on March 23

Chinese smartphone manufacturer OPPO will be launching the OPPO F3 and F3 Plus on March 23. Both these devices have already been seen via a promotional banner which was leaked a few days back. The Oppo F3 and F3 Plus are said to be selfie focused smartphones packing 16-megapixel and 8-megapixel front facing cameras.

The OPPO F3, supposed to be the base variant, is rumoured to feature a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display. The phone is likely to pack 4GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage. It might run on Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box with color UI  on top of it. On the other hand, the higher-end variant i.e. the OPPO F3 Plus is said to feature a large 6-inch Full HD display. The phone is expected to run on Snapdragon 653 SoC with 6GB of RAM. Unlike the 32GB storage option of the OPPO F3, the larger variant might get 64GB of storage space.

In terms of imaging, the OPPO F3 Plus is rumoured to feature a 16-megapixel rear facing camera and a combination of 16-megapixel and 8-megapixel camera at the front. The OPPO F3 Plus is said to pack a 4000mAh battery, and the device might weigh around 185g.

Both these smartphones will be launched in Philippines, Myanmar, Vietnam, Indonesia and India simultaneously. Once they’re launched, these smartphones are said to rival the Lenovo Vibe S1 and the Vivo V5 Plus which also features the same dual selfie-camera setup up front. While the pricing of both these smartphones is still a mystery, we should get more details on March 23.
