HTC is working on Desire 650 Dual SIM with MediaTek chipset and Sense 8.3 UI

HTC is reportedly working on a yet another mid-range Desire smartphone. The phone in question is speculated to be Desire 650 Dual SIM. LlabTooFeR, a reputable HTC mobile leaks source, stated that this dual SIM phone would house a MediaTek made chipset inside.

HTC’s Desire series mostly caters to the mid-range segment. The upcoming Desire 650 Dual SIM carries codename A37. However, HTC already has Desire 650 with a codename A17, and it was released last November.

Rumours suggest that HTC will load a Sense 8.3 iteration of the current Sense 8.0 on this Desire line handset. If that stands true, then this phone might run Android 6.0 Marshmallow version under the Sense UI.

The Desire 650 Dual SIM is expected to house a MediaTek chipset, and the model number of the chip is unknown. Meanwhile, the single SIM capable Desire 650 houses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 chipset.

The details about the screen size, RAM, and battery are scarce. There is no word on the launch or price of this handset as yet.
