Apple iPhone SE gets a price cut, now starts at Rs 19,999 for India

Apple intends to go bullish with its plans for India. Though the naysayers believe that Apple is destined to fail, it’s the resellers who come up with lucrative discount offers. Kerala-based ITNetTelecom broke the news about Apple iPhone SE slashing the price by about Rs 10,000 in India. The only caveat is that this offer is limited only to the card purchases.

In April 2016, Apple iPhone SE arrived at a jaw-dropping Rs 39,000 price in India. Almost eleven months later, the same phone is now retailing for Rs 19,999 for the 16GB model. This freshly discounted price is applicable across the country. Apple authorised resellers are selling the iPhone SE at the said price and also the 64GB model at Rs 25,999.

Apple India already has a bunch of cash back offers running with several leading Banks. So you may be eligible for the additional to claim that cashback offer. However, we would recommend confirming the same with your bank as well as the Apple reseller.

It is the first time Apple iPhone SE is being sold at a price, roughly $300, lesser than in the US where it retails for $369. From what we hear, that this might be a temporary price cut. The ITNetTelecom folks suggest that the discount on the iPhone SE will be available until March 25.
