Huawei P10 Lite is now official; will launch on March 31

After days of speculation about the Huawei P10 Lite, the company has finally confirmed that it will launch the handset on March 31. The Plus model i.e the Huawei P10 Plus is expected to go on sale a week later i.e April 7. The P10 Lite will be available in Midnight Black and Platinum Gold colours with ceramic sandblasted finish. While the P10 is available for £549 (approximately ₹45,000), the P10 Plus will cost you £649 (approximately ₹53,000).

In terms of specifications, there wasn’t much that the company was able to keep a secret. The handset comes with a 5.2-inch display with 1080p resolution. Under the hood, it uses a Kirin 658 chipset with an octa-core 53 processor and Mali-T830MP2 GPU. It features 4GB of RAM with 32GB of expandable storage space. The P10 Lite has a 12-megapixel rear camera with an F2.2 lens, and an 8-megapixel front camera. The front “selfie” camera comes with a Portrait Selfie mode which give selfies a bokeh effect. Nice?

A 3000mAh battery with an 18W fast charging mechanism powers the handset. The P10 Lite runs on Android Nougat with the latest EMUI 5.1 on top of it. The software comes with additional features such as knuckle gestures, Quik integration, Power Saver 5.0 and memory optimizations.
