Moto G5 Plus is getting an update, fixes include improve audio of captured videos

Motorola launched the new Moto G (5th Gen) Plus or Moto G5 Plus in last week. The Moto G5 Plus is already getting its first software update in Brazil while it is barely a fortnight old. The changelog of the update mentions a couple of fixes and improvements.

The Moto G5 Plus users can expect to receive a sizeable update measuring 280MB. After installing that, the software version of the phone changes to NPN25.137-33 and remains on Android 7.0 Nougat. The update improves the audio quality of videos recorded and brings few other improvements under-the-hood. Motorola is pushing the software update over-the-air so it might take a while before it reaches your phone. However, if you wish to check for it manually, open the Settings app and go to “About Phone” and select “Software Updates” to see if the update is ready for your G5 Plus or not.
