New leaked images of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and the S8 Plus show glass back and fingerprint sensor


The official launch of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and the S8 Plus is just a week away and we have another new leak coming in. Popular leakster Evan Blass, who has continually been leaking information about the Galaxy S8 and the S8 Plus smartphones since the past couple of days, has now tipped latest images of the Galaxy S8 which shows the glass back of the handset along with the fingerprint sensor. It also shows the phone in Black Sky and Orchid Grey colours.

As per these images, the smartphones come in a metal frame and have a curved design. The Galaxy S8 series will also now have the fingerprint sensor at the back as opposed to front in the Galaxy S7 series. 

The Samsung Galaxy S8 and the S8 Plus smartphones are expected to launch at at the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2017 event which will take place at 11am EDT (9.30pm IST) in New York on March 29. Both phones will be available for pre-orders globally from April 10 and for sale from April 21.

Recent reports have said that the Galaxy S8 will be priced starting from €799 (approximately ₹56,000), whereas the Galaxy S8 Plus will come for a starting price of €899 (approximately ₹63,000). As we mentioned earlier, Samsung is also said to launch a new GearVR which is rumoured to cost €129 (approximately ₹9,000), new Gear360 at €229 (approximately ₹16,000) and a new device called DeX which is said to cost €150 (approximately ₹11,000).
