Coolpad Note 5 Lite: Hands-on and image gallery

At a special event in Hyderabad, Chinese smartphone vendor Coolpad showcased its latest offering, the Coolpad Note 5 Lite. This smartphone succeeds the Note 5 which was launched in September last year. This low-end handset which is priced at ₹8,199 is expected to compete with the likes of the Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime and the Moto E3 Power.

The device is small, compact and features a metal unibody design which makes it look sleek and premium. Thanks to the use of aluminum, the device is light and easy to carry around. At the front, the phone has a 5-inch HD display along with an 8-megapixel camera. At the back, the Note 5 Lite features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor which is slotted below the 13-megapixel rear camera module. The volume rocker keys lie on the left. On the right, you have the dual-SIM slot and the power button. The microUSB 2.0 port is at the bottom and the 3.5 mm audio jack is at the top.
