Fitbit Alta HR now available in India for ₹14,999

As promised, Fitbit’s Alta HR, a heart rate tracking device it had announced last month, is now available for purchase in India. It can be picked up from Amazon.in for a price of ₹14,999. The fitness tracker will also be available offline from April 16 at stores such as Reliance Digital, Croma, Helios, Jumbo and Vijay Sales. The device is available in Black, Blue with Grey and Fuchsia colours. There is also a Special Edition Alta HR which will be available in Gun Metal and Rose Gold colours, and costs ₹16,999. Classic fitness bands are priced at ₹2,999, Luxe leather bands are priced at ₹5,999, and the Luxe metal bracelet is available at ₹9,999.

Fitbit Alta HR

The Alta HR is the upgraded version of its last year’s Fitbit Alta. It allows users to keep track of their heart rate with the help of PurePulse heart rate technology. The fitness tracker also boasts of features such as Reminders to Move, Sleep Stages and Sleep Insights, and SmartTrack Auto Exercise Recognition. Sleep Stages tracks your sleep in light, deep and REM phases of sleep and Sleep Insights makes suitable suggestions for improved sleep. The SmartTrack Auto Exercise Recognition feature helps users measure calorie burn and fine tune their fitness regime.


Fitbit Alta HR

The Fitbit Alta HR also sends call, message, email and calendar alerts to users just like a smartwatch. You can also customise the watch faces on its OLED display. The company claims that the Fitbit Alta HR can last for seven days on a single charge.
