Xiaomi’s CEO Lei Jun confirmed in a Live streaming video few days ago that the company’s next flagship smartphone, the Xiaomi Mi 6, would debut next month. Now, a new device known as Xiaomi Sagit has appeared on the GFXBench listing database with a strange similarity to the Mi 6. It boasts of the same specifications such as a Snapdragon 835 SoC, 6GB RAM and Android 7.1 Nougat, leaving little room for doubt that this device is indeed the Xiaomi Mi 6.

The smartphone appears to be an entry level model sporting a 5.1-inch display. For those of you who are unaware, the standard variant is rumoured to feature a 5.2-inch display, similar to the GFXBench listing, whereas the high-end variant is said to be offered with a 5.7-inch display. Under the hood, the smartphone will run on a Snapdragon 835 processor paired with an Adreno 540 GPU. It will pack 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The smartphone will also have a 6GB RAM with a 128GB internal storage variant. There is no doubt as to whether this flagship device will boot Android 7.1 Nougat out-of-the-box, reaffirming the aforementioned listing entry.

In the imaging section, the smartphone will have a 12-megapixel rear-facing camera and an 8-megapixel front camera. Both cameras will come equipped with 4K video recording capability, as per the listing. Additionally, the Plus model will also debut along with this device, and will sport a 5.7-inch display, 6GB RAM with 64GB/128GB internal storage.

With the launch expected to take place next month, we might get more information about this phone as well as the Plus variant in the next coming days.
