
Micromax’s first smartphone with dual cameras, the Micromax Dual 5, goes on sale today. The Micromax Dual 5 is set to be available in India via Flipkart and the company’s online store for ₹24,999. The phone will also be made available via offline stores.
To remind you, the phone’s rear camera setup uses two 13-megapixel Sony IMX258 sensors, one of which is an RGB image sensor while the other is a monochrome sensor, and is backed by an LED flash. The lenses have an F1.8 aperture. The Micromax Dual 5 is capable of 4K video recording. The Dual 5 also features a 13-megapixel front facing camera with an F2.0 aperture.
The phone uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor along with an Adreno 510 GPU. It packs 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, expandable up to 128GB with the use of a microSD card. The hybrid dual SIM Micromax Dual 5 has a 5.5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED 2.5D curved display, and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The smartphone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow, and is powered by a 3200mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support. Connectivity options on the 4G VoLTE enabled Micromax Dual 5 include Wi-fi 802,11ac , Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and USB Type-C.
