Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro is getting the April 1 security patch through an OTA update

It’s been barely a week since Samsung introduced the Galaxy C7 Pro in India. Now the Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro is already getting a security patch through a firmware update. Expect no significant changes after you install the 35MB file.

Samsung launched Galaxy C7 Pro earlier this week in India and is the second phone to arrive in the Galaxy C-series. The new Galaxy C7 Pro has just received a 35MB firmware OTA that brings the new April 1 security patch.

Apart from that, the changelog doesn’t mention any specific changes. You can expect the common set of changes and fixes with this OTA.


Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro features a metal-unibody chassis and features a large 5.7-inch Super AMOLED screen with 2.5D curved display treatement. This display also carries Corning Gorilla Glass 4 for scratch resistance. An octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 chipset houses inside the Galaxy C7 Pro and is coupled with 4GB of RAM.

The phone packs 16-megapixel camera at the rear as well as on the front. The Galaxy C7 Pro houses a 3,300 mAh battery with Adaptive Fast Charging. Also, there is a fingerprint sensor integrated in the Home button on the front.

Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro is now going for Rs 27,990 in India.
