The new Xiaomi Mi 6 flagship is just a few hours away from an official launch. The phone was already spotted on Geekbench and GFXBench a few days ago where all of its specifications were pretty much revealed. In addition to this, we also saw case renders of the same, and now we are getting a look at the back cover of the phone that reaffirms a dual camera setup. The image of the Xiaomi Mi 6 also gives us a look at the phone from the rear and the front revealing its design.
The Xiaomi Mi 6 will be announced in two variants, of which the standard option will come with a 5.2-inch display and the Plus variant will come with a 5.7-inch display. The smartphones will have a dual camera setup at the rear, a headphone jack at the top and a USB Type-C port at the bottom. However, it’s still unclear if the company is going ahead with a 3.5mm audio jack, considering that the case renders of the phone leaked a few days ago didn’t show it.
The phones will be powered by a Snapdragon 835 processor and 4GB/6GB of RAM onboard. The standard variant is said to be offered in 64GB/128GB storage option, whereas the Plus variant might come in 64GB/128GB/256GB of internal storage. The smartphones will run on Android 7.1 Nougat with the MIUI 8 on top. As far as the rumoured pricing is concerned, the Mi 6 with 4GB of RAM and 32GB storage is supposed to come at a price label of ₹19,350, whereas the Mi 6 Plus might be priced at ₹33,875.
The launch of these smartphones is said to take place on April 19 where we will get more detailed information about both these devices.
