ZTE unveiled the Axon 7 with 6GB of RAM and a Snapdragon 820 processor under the hood last year. The firm has now extended the Axon lineup and is offering an upgrade to this device, the ZTE Axon 7s with a Snapdragon 821 processor. As of now, no other specifications have been listed in the press release but the ZTE Axon 7s, like its predecessor, is assumed to come with 6GB of RAM.
Design-wise, the ZTE Axon 7s looks a lot like last year’s Axon 7 which comes with a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display. As mentioned above, the Axon 7s is an upgraded version with a Snapdragon 821 SoC with Adreno 530 GPU for better multitasking. There is no mention about the offered RAM space, but we believe that 6GB of RAM will be given for the same considering that its predecessor was also offered the same and the intense competition in China nowadays. The phone might run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box.
As far as the imaging of the smartphone is concerned, it is the same as the Axon 7 which comes with a 20-megapixel rear-facing camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. In addition to this, the company also stated in a press release that the Axon 7 Max has already been unveiled with a Snapdragon 821 processor and a 4100mAh battery.
More information about the pricing as well as the detailed specifications will be known in the coming days when both these smartphones go on sale.
