After teasing a smart device earlier this week, Xiaomi has finally introduced a new smartwatch – Hey 3S. Currently limited only to the China region, the new Xiaomi-funded company WeLoop’s Hey 3S smartwatch looks like an unmistakable Apple Watch clone. Packing GPS support, the Hey 3S is best suited for the sports enthusiasts.
The Xiaomi Hey 3S smartwatch features a 1.28-inch display made of memory LCD. It also has a heart rate sensor at the back to monitor heart beats. The smartwatch offers Bluetooth 4.2 support to pair it with a smartphone. Xiaomi has also managed to bag Ingress Protection certification for being waterproof for up to 50 meters.
Most smartwatches suffer from one major setback – battery life. That’s where Xiaomi aims to do its best by promising 30 days of battery life. A magnetic surface based charging dock comes with the smartwatch for charging it.
The Hey 3S design bears similarity with Apple Watch Nike+ edition. The Hey 3S will sell in China for 539 Yuan (Rs 5,000).
