The flagships wiht dual rear cameras are the latest trend among smartphone makers. Chinese handset maker Meizu is also expected to join that league soon with its Meizu Pro 7 smartphone. As per an image shared on Weibo, a Chinese microblogging platform, the device in that image is claimed to be the Meizu Pro 7.
Meizu has been teasing about its flagship smartphone since last September. We reported earlier that Meizu and Qualcomm might be working closely to use the Snapdragon 835 in the Pro 7. However, there is no evidence available to support those rumours.
The alleged photo of the Meizu Pro 7 on Weibo looks like a placeholder (dummy) image. However, it does show dual rear camera setup with an LED flash next to it. There’s no way to figure out which sensor will rest next to the LED flash.
The front side of the photo shows minimal bezels, even at the top as well as the bottom. The Home button on the front can be expected to integrated the mTouch fingerprint scanner. Not much can be inferred from the images. Also, we are not sure about the accuracy and authenticity of the images, so we suggest you to take them with a grain of salt.
We can expect Meizu to add its new Super mCharge fast charging technology that promises 98 percent charging efficiency and fully charge a device in 20 mins. in this flagship device. Based on the past reports, the Meizu Pro 7 will see the daylight only in the third quarter of this year.
