Samsung launches its new range of 4K QLED TVs in India; prices range from ₹3,14,900 to ₹24,99,900


Samsung India has launched its new QLED TVs in the country. First showcased at CES earlier this year, the company launched its new range of QLED TVs for global markets in March. Samsung have now brought five models from the Q7, Q8, and Q9 series of its premium flagship lineup of QLED TVs to India, with prices ranging from ?3,14,900 to ?24,99,900. The TVs are expected to become available for purchase sometime this month.

To remind you, Samsung QLED TVs are quantum dot based TVs. Samsung claims its QLED TVs are able to achieve 100% colour volume, and are capable of brightness levels of 1500 – 2000 nits. The TVs come in 55-inch, 65-inch, 75-inch and 99-inch variants. The 4K (3840×2160) UHD capable Q7, Q8, and Q9 series QLED TVs come with a no gap wall-mount or a metal stand that accompanies the TV. Alternatively, a “Studio stand designed like an easel” is available as a purchase option for an added price.

The new QLED TV range comes with the Samsung One Remote, which users can use to control multiple connected TV devices with just one remote control. The remote also offers voice control abilities. Samsung also says that its Smart View app, which supports both Android and iOS mobile devices, allows users to share content from their smartphones to the TV seamlessly.

Samsung hasn’t revealed pricing for all the QLED TVs yet. The range is available for pre-order between today and May 21 on Samsung India’s online shop. Pre-orders get a free Samsung Galaxy S8+ Gold smartphone.
