Leaked slide reveals Samsung Galaxy J7 Max specs

Samsung’s recent Galaxy J-series models have proved to be quite popular in markets such as India, where the mid-range segment is witnessing some serious growth. The South Korean giant could soon add a new model to its J-series lineup, dubbed the Galaxy J7 Max. Key specifications of the smartphone have popped up online today, courtesy of an alleged product presentation slide.

If the leaked slide is to be believed, the Galaxy J7 Max will feature a large 5.7-inch TFT LCD display with 1080 x 1920 Full HD resolution. The smartphone will be powered by a MediaTek MT6757V octa-core SoC clocked at 1.6 GHz, paired with 4GB of RAM. In terms of storage, you will be getting 32GB of internal memory, with a microSD card allowing further expansion up to 128GB. The smartphone will come equipped with a 13MP camera at the back, paired with a bright f/1.7 aperture lens and an LED flash. A 13MP snapper will be present on the front as well. The battery inside the Galaxy J7 Max will be a 3,300mAh unit, which sounds pretty decent for a mid-range handset.

As can be seen in the leaked slide, the Galaxy J7 Max will feature the Smart Glow 2.0 LED notification ring around the rear camera lens, similar to the Galaxy J2 (2016) and Galaxy J2 Pro models that were launched in India last year. The smartphone will be running on Android 7.0 Nougat OS out of the box and support the Samsung Pay Mini online payment service.

The Samsung Galaxy J7 Max is expected to be released in the second week of June with a price tag lower than Rs.20000 ($311). It will be available in two colors at launch – Black and Gold.
