New Moto E4 Plus press renders surface online


After announcing the Moto C and Moto C Plus, Motorola could soon announce the Moto E4 and E4 Plus smartphones. Two new press renders of the Moto E4 Plus have been leaked on the web, showing the two colors that the handset will be offered in – Grey and Gold.

The Moto E4 Plus will sport a 5-inch IPS display with 720 x 1280 HD resolution, offering a pixel density of 294 pixels per inch. It will be running on the MediaTek MT6737M quad-core SoC clocked at 1.3 GHz, paired with either 2 or 3GB of RAM. There will be 16GB of internal storage onboard, which will be expandable further with a microSD card.


At the rear will be a 13MP main camera with an LED flash and HD video recording support. For selfies, the smartphone will offer a 5MP unit on the front. Connectivity wise, the E4 Plus will come with Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 Low Energy, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, NFC, and 4G LTE. The main USP of the smartphone will be a huge 5000mAh capacity battery. As you would expect from a smartphone with such a large battery, the E4 Plus will be thicker as well as heavier compared to its rivals. At its thickest point, the smartphone is 9.5mm thick and weighs in at 198 grams. In terms of software, the Moto E4 Plus and the Moto E4 are expected to boot Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS out of the box.
