ZTE sub-brand Nubia has confirmed that it will be unveiling a new smartphone for the Indian market on the 22nd of this month, i.e. this coming Monday. While Nubia hasn’t confirmed it officially, the teaser posted on its Twitter page by Nubia India suggests the smartphone in question is the Nubia N1 lite.
Announced at the Mobile World Congress 2017 in February this year, the Nubia N1 lite is a budget Android smartphone featuring a metal frame in the middle and a polycarbonate back cover. It features a 5.5-inch IPS Full Lamination display with 720 x 1280 HD resolution and a pixel density of 267 pixels per inch. Powering the smartphone is MediaTek’s MT6737 quad-core 64-bit SoC clocked at 1.5 GHz. When it comes to memory, the Nubia N1 lite comes equipped with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The smartphone uses a Hybrid Dual SIM configuration, which means you will either be able to use two SIM cards or just one SIM card along with a microSD card.
Moving on to the cameras, the Nubia N1 lite features an 8MP snapper at the back and a 5MP selfie shooter on the front. For taking selfies in the dark, the smartphone includes a dedicated LED flash on the front. The fingerprint scanner is mounted at the back, claimed to unlock the device in just 0.3 seconds. Nubia N1 lite also includes a 3000mAh capacity battery inside, which is pretty decent but not best-in-class. Software wise, the smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system, with Nubia’s custom skin on top.
