The fact that Nokia is prepping a brand new flagship handset called the Nokia 9 is known to almost everyone who has anything remotely to do with the tech industry. In fact, of late we came across a bunch of leaked images that supposedly belonged to the Nokia 9. These images were first released by French Android blog Frandroid who in the same report, also included some information regarding the specifications of the handset. A few hours ago, we came across some more information that seems to suggest that the Nokia 9 is indeed a real thing.

In case you’re wondering what this is all about, we are talking about a new Geekbench benchmark result that seems to be of the Nokia 9. The handset in question is referred to as the HMD Global TA-1004 which seems to be the current internal codename for the Nokia 9.

The device is powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset and has managed to score 2236 points in the single core test and 7553 points in the multi core tests. The result also confirms that the handset will get 4GB of RAM.

Do you think the HMD Global TA-1004 is indeed the new Nokia 9?
