OPPO R11 with 5.5-inch display and Snapdragon 660 processor to launch on June 10


OPPO’s dual rear camera smartphones, the OPPO R11 and the OPPO R11 Plus, have already made their appearance on the web numerous times. The OPPO R11 was seen on AnTuTu and both smartphones received the TENAA certification a few days ago. The leak from yesterday claimed that the launch of these devices could take place on June 10, and it looks like this piece of information is spot on. The company officially confirmed that the launch of the smartphones will take place on June 10 at the Shenzhen Grand Canal Centre.

As far as the specifications of these devices is concerned, the OPPO R11 is said to sport a 5.5-inch AMOLED display which will have a Full HD resolution. The larger handset i.e. the OPPO R11 Plus will feature a big 6-inch LCD with 1080p resolution. The smartphones will be powered by the newly announced octa-core Snapdragon 660 processor with Adreno 512 GPU. The OPPO R11 is said to be available with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, whereas the Plus variant might get 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

In terms of camera specifications, the smartphones are said to have a combination of 16-megapixel and 12-megapixel cameras at the rear, whereas at the front they are expected to have a 20-megapixel camera. The OPPO R11 might be packed with a 2900mAh battery, and a large 3880mAh battery might be seen on the Plus variant. The smartphones will come with 4G VoLTE support and a front-facing fingerprint sensor. They are likely to boot up on Android 7.1 Nougat out-of-the-box with the Color OS upfront.
