Here is the official press render of the OnePlus 5 with dual rear cameras

As you may already know, OnePlus is officially launching the OnePlus 5 on June 20. A series of leaks and rumours suggest a dual camera setup at the back is the biggest noteworthy change. Android Police received an official press render of the OnePlus 5 showing the dual camera setup.

The OnePlus 5 is set to launch officially on June 20 at 12:00 PM EDT or 9:30 PM IST (in India). OnePlus will live stream the launch and also host ‘pop up’ events in select ten cities which include Amsterdam, Berlin, Helsinki, London, New York, and Paris. Those attending the ‘pop up’ events will be eligible to buy the OnePlus 5 earlier than rest of the world. OnePlus will also give those buyers some exclusive swag.

The official render shows the 2.5D curved glass treatment where the panel meets the frame. The Alert Slider switch, which is a OnePlus feature, continues to rest on the frame. The horizontal placement of dual cameras at the back with dual tone LED flash next to them shows the final design. The photo indicates a very glossy and reflective frame while the back may carry a texture treatment like the previous OnePlus units.

The OnePlus 5 is set to feature 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display, but its resolution could be QHD or Full HD. The rear-placed dual camera setup will have a pair of two 13-megapixel units capable of recording up to 4K videos. The phone has 16-megapixel front-facing selfie camera, just like that in the OnePlus 3T.

Qualcomm confirmed last week that the OnePlus 5 runs the top-tier Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset with Adreno 540 GPU inside. This chipset will come with 6GB of RAM and 64GB storage. We expect OnePlus to introduce a 128GB model as well.

The company has already teased that the OnePlus 5 will come in four colour options – Black, Red, Gold, and one unique colour.
