At its WWDC event, overshadowed by the watchOS 4 and HomePod, Apple also launched new colourful Apple Watch straps. These straps come in Sports Band, Woven Nylon, Nike Sport Band and Leather varieties. Until recently, the Apple Watch Nike+ edition was the only way users of the Apple Watch could choose from a variety of straps, but as per a recent change these straps can now be used on all variants of the Apple Watch.
Apple’s standard sport bands are now also available in three new colours: Mist Blue, Pollen (yellow) and Flamingo (peach). The Nike Sport Band is available in four new colours, namely Light Violet/White Nike Sport Band, Violet Dust/Plum Fog Nike Sport Band, Blue Orbit/Gamma Blue Nike Sport Band and Obsidian/Black Nike Sport Band. Apple is offering the Woven Nylon band in a new Pride Edition strap which has vibrant rainbow colours on it. Apple has not made any new additions to its stainless steel model. However, there is a new leather Sunflower Classic Bluckle strap that users can avail in case they are looking for a leather strap.
In case you are interested in purchasing any of these new straps, you need to head over to Apple’s store. The sport band, Nike Sport Bands and woven nylon bands are available for $49 (approximately ₹3,000). The Classic Buckle, on the other hand, is priced at $149 (approximately ₹10,000).
