Micromax’s subsidiary Yu unveiled its new smartphone, the Yu Yureka Black a few days ago in the country. This new device was launched by the company after a period of six months just when rumours about the company shutting down started to float around. The firm proved all of these reports to be false by launching its new Yu Yureka Black handset with performance level specifications. At the launch, the company also claimed that the Yu Yureka Black would receive Android 7.1.2 Nougat soon. Now, without much delay, the company has released the beta update of Android 7.1.2 Nougat.
The smartphone was initially introduced with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, therefore the company providing the new Android 7.1.1 Nougat update so soon is good news for users who have already purchased the device. While, the update brings new features to the Yu Yureka Black in beta form, the company has said that it will roll out the stable version within one month’s time.
