After unveiling the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8+, the Korean smartphone manufacturer is now gearing up for its next Galaxy Note device, the Galaxy Note 8. The device’s schematics were leaked on the web a few days ago, and now we’ve got some more information about its camera details. The Galaxy Note 8 is said to feature a 13-megapixel dual rear camera setup as hinted by the popular Samsung leakstar @ice universe. Going by the fact that @ice universe has given many reliable Samsung leaks in the past, this information about the Galaxy Note 8 could come true.

The smartphone might feature a 5.8-inch display like the Galaxy S8’s, with an aspect ratio of 18:9. The device might feature a Snapdragon 835 processor coupled with 4GB or 6GB RAM and 64GB/ 128GB of storage. The Galaxy Note 8 might run on Android Nougat or even the newly announced Android O since the device’s launch is still a couple of months away. That apart, few other leaks have suggested that Samsung might switch to an under-glass fingerprint sensor embedded into the display.

The device’s launch isn’t known as of now, but it might be unveiled in mid-August as per the Korean media. Some also believe that the Galaxy Note 8 will be made official at an IFA event in September, where the firm is known to launch Note series devices. Because of similar launch timelines, the Galaxy Note 8 will give a tough fight to the LG V30 and the upcoming iPhone which are currently in production.
