Sennheiser is joining the trend of stepping into the future of personal audio – wireless. The German audio equipment maker is introducing the new Momentum M2 in-ear wireless earphones for the Indian audio enthusiasts. It is a wireless version of the Momentum M2 wired version.
The Sennheiser Momentum M2 in-ear wireless earphones carry a fiercely fashionable around-the-neck band design. The neckband has a layer stuck using sheepskin nappa leather on top for comfort. The stainless steel earbuds are precision milled and carry a chrome finish. Inside those earbuds are the impact resistant elements made using polycarbonate.
The neckband carries a three button design to act as playback controls and also answer calls. Of course, there is a microphone integrated into the band as well. The neck unit vibrates whenever you get a call.
The Momentum M2 connects wirelessly with Bluetooth 4.1 support devices. The audio enthusiasts can make the best of the aptX as well ass AAC audio codecs support to enjoy higher quality music. At a time, you can connect two devices with this earphone.
Sennheiser has also integrated its NoiseGard active noise cancellation feature to attenuate the ambient noise. The only setback is a tiny 170mAh battery that promises up to 10 hours of battery life.
Sennheiser is asking Rs 14,990 for the Moment M2 in-ear wireless earphones. That is more than twice the price of the wired variant of the Momentum in-ear earphones. Even Apple’s Beats X from Beats by Dr. Dre costs rough Rs 11, 990 in India. Then again, the Beats X has a different design, lighter profile, and doesn’t offer active noise cancellation.
