OnePlus launched its flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 5, a couple of days ago. The device was launched in two colours: Midnight Black and Slate Grey. However, we’ve learnt that the company might soon launch a third colour variant for its new smartphone. As per the latest OnePlus 5 TENAA listing, the device could soon be available in Mint Gold colour. Considering that the OnePlus 3T was launched in Gold colour, we can expect the brand to do the same with the OnePlus 5 Mint in the upcoming months. However, it is possible that it could be offered in a limited quantity.

The OnePlus 5 features a 5.5-inch Optic AMOLED display with 1080p resolution, as opposed to most flagship smartphones launched in 2017. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset which has support for gigabit LTE and virtual reality. The device comes two variants. The cheaper variant of the OnePlus 5 has 6GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. The higher priced variant of the phone has 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Both of these phones run Android 7.1 Nougat-based OxygenOS. They pack a 3,300mAh battery with support for Dash Charge technology.

In terms of imaging, the dual rear-facing camera setup at the rear is its highlight. There is a 16-megapixel sensor with f/1.7 aperture and a 20-megapixel sensor with f/2.6 aperture. The rear-facing camera has dual-pixel PDAF and can record 4K videos. The smartphone has a 16-megapixel front-facing camera with a fixed-focus lens and 1080p video recording. The OnePlus 5 was launched yesterday in India. It is priced for ₹32,999 for the 6GB RAM variant, while the 8GB RAM variant costs ₹34,999. Both variants are already on sale on Amazon.in.

The company also announced a bunch of official accessories for the phone, including a back covers, an end-to-end case, and a larger variant of the company’s backpack.
