Just a few days back, HMD Global announced the launch of its Nokia-branded Android smartphone lineup for the Indian market. At the event, HMD announced that the Nokia 3 will only be available via offline retail stores. However, consumer electronics retailer Croma has listed the smartphone on its online store, allowing consumers in select cities to purchase the Nokia 3 online. The Tata-owned retailer only delivers to select cities across India, so most of you will still need to get your Nokia 3 from an offline retail store near you.
This isn’t the first time that Croma is offering an “offline exclusive” Nokia phone online. A few weeks back, it started selling the Nokia 3310 online, another device that HMD Global announced as an offline exclusive. Croma will also sell the Nokia 5 via its online store. While the smartphone is not expected to go on sale until next month, it has been listed on the Croma website already. Pre-bookings for the Nokia 5 will open on July 7th through offline retail channels across the country. If you live in a city where Croma has a presence, you will be able to get it online as soon as stocks arrive. It is expected to retail at Rs.12,899.
