Samsung Galaxy Note 8 with 6.3-inch AMOLED display, 6GB RAM, dual cameras tipped to launch in late September for €1,000

We have been hearing many details about the launch of the Galaxy Note 8 over the past few days, but now more concise details of the same have emerged. A recent report claims that the smartphone is tipped to launch in late September and is rumoured to be priced around €1,000 (₹72,196). The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is rumoured to be the first smartphone from the company to sport a dual camera setup.

The Galaxy Note 8 is said to sport a 6.3-inch AMOLED display with QHD+ resolution and an 18:9 aspect ratio as the Galaxy S8. The device is said to be powered by either an octa-core Snapdragon 835 chipset or an Exynos 8895 chipset with 6GB of RAM. As mentioned above, it is supposed to have a dual camera setup of 12-megapixels with optical image stabilization.

The smartphone is also said to a fingerprint sensor at an unlikely spot, i.e. at the back side near the camera lenses. The device will also have an improved split-screen multitasking feature,  S Pen with more capabilities, DeX capability and much more. The device is tipped to pack a 3300mAh battery with fast charging support. The Galaxy Note 8 might be offered in Black, Blue and Gold colours.


If speaking about competition for this upcoming flagship, there is only one smartphone which comes to mind, which is the LG V30 whose launch is also said to happen in the same season.
