Nubia NX907J with 13-megapixel camera stops by at TENAA

Nubia, ZTE’s sub-brand, is working on new smartphone set to arrive in the coming weeks. A Nubia NX907J stopped by at China’s TENAA website for certification and revealed its specs. From the looks of it, the phone might fall in the lower mid-range price segment.

As per the TENAA’s listening, the Nubia NX907J appears to be constructed using metal back plate tugged along with polycarbonate components. On the front is a Home button with a red circle on it, a typical Nubia design feature. The power button and the SIM Tray are to the right, on the frame.

The Nubia NX907J will equip a 5.5-inch HD display. It will house a 1.4GHz Octa-core mobile processor and makes us suspect it might be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 chip. The phone packs 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The memory card slot will be able to hold up to 128GB microSD card.

By default, the phone runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow which seems like a bummer. It is about time phone companies stop putting older Android versions and then forget to update them. A 13-megapixel camera rests at the back with LED flash to lead the imaging department. On the front is a 5-megapixel camera to take selfies and make video calls.

The Nubia NX907J packs 2900 mAh battery, and there is no mention of the fast charging capability. The phone is expected to arrive in Black and Platinum. While the pricing and availability are unknown, we will have to wait for the official launch to learn more details.
