
European electronics major Optoma has announced the launch of a new projector in the Indian market. The new model, called the Optoma HD27 is a full HD projector that claims to offer cinema quality picture with accurate colour reproduction with support for Rec. 709 industry standard for high-definition colour reproduction. The HD27 claims to offer ‘vibrant, long-lasting and accurate colours’ and comes equipped with an enhanced colour wheel and multiple modes and settings to choose from. The Optoma HD27 weighs just over 2.5kg, and comes with an optional carry bag so that you can carry it around with ease. The projector also boasts of twin HDMI ports, thereby offering easy connectivity. It can also be turned into a smart projector by connecting an HDMI dongle like the HDCast Pro (sold separately), Google Chromecast or Amazon Fire TV. The projector also comes with its own inbuilt speakers and has a gaming mode as well.
