The specifications of the unannounced Sony G8341 and the Sony G8441 have been leaked by the Polish retailer Komp.tech. The Sony G8341 is believed to be the Sony Xperia XZ1, whereas the G8441 could be the XZ1 Compact as per the information shown on the user agent profile a few days ago. The retailer hasn’t revealed any specifications or release dates for these devices, but has nevertheless mentioned that the Sony G8341 could come in Black, Moonlite Blue, Venus Pink, and Warm Silver options, whereas the Sony G8441 might be released in Black, Horizon Blue, Snow Silver, and Twilight Pink variants.
Considering these code names represent the Sony Xperia XZ1 and the Xperia XZ1 Compact, we believe that they might run on Android O out of the box, as per the information revealed through the user agent profile. Additionally, it is also believed that both of them could run on Snapdragon 835 chipset. The Sony XZ1 is rumoured to sports a 5.2-inch display with 1080×1920 pixel resolution, whereas the XZ1 Compact might offer a 4.6-inch screen with 720×1280 pixel resolution. Furthermore, the Xperia XZ1 and the Xperia XZ1 Compact are expected to pack 4GB of RAM with 32GB internal storage.
The Sony G8341 is supposed to cost €750 in Europe, whereas the Sony G8441 might retail around for €650. As of now, no further information about these handsets has been revealed, but the aforementioned retail listing does hint that the launch of these smartphones is near.
