Complete specs and prices of upcoming Asus ZenFone 4 series smartphones leaked

Asus is all set to unveil the new ZenFone 4 series smartphones at an event in China on the 17th of this month. Ahead of their official unveiling, Asus France eShop has listed all the key specs as well as official images of the upcoming smartphones. The ZenFone 4 lineup will comprise of the ZenFone 4, ZenFone 4 Selfie, ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro, and a more affordable variant of the ZenFone 4 Max.

The ZenFone 4 ZE554KL will be priced at 500EUR (Rs.37,600 approx) in France, just shy of flagship territory. However, in terms of specs, the smartphone doesn’t seem to justify the high pricing. It features a 5.5-inch Full HD display, metal unibody design, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of expandable onboard storage, 12MP + 8MP dual rear cameras, 8MP selfie camera, and a Snapdragon 630 octa-core SoC.

The ZenFone 4 Selfie comes with a 5.5-inch 720p HD IPS display and runs on an octa-core Snapdragon 430 SoC with an Adreno 505 GPU. In terms of memory, the smartphone includes 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage, which can be expanded further by up to 128GB with a microSD card. The ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro sports a 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display and is powered by a more powerful octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor. Both the models are equipped with a dual-selfie camera setup on the front. While the ZenFone 4 Selfie boasts a 20MP + 8MP setup, the ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro boasts a 24MP + 5MP dual-camera setup on the front. The primary camera on both handsets is a 16MP unit with a dual-tone LED flash. They also share identical connectivity specs and pack a 3000mAh capacity battery. Asus has priced the ZenFone 4 Selfie at 300 EUR (Rs.22,500 approx) while the Selfie Pro is priced at 400 EUR (Rs.30,000 approx).

Finally, there’s the slightly less impressive variant of the ZenFone 4 Max, carrying the model number ZC554KL. It comes with a smaller 5.2-inch display as well as a lower 230 EUR (Rs.17,000 approx) price tag.
