10.or (pronounced as Tenor), a new smartphone brand, today launched its first product for the India market. Simply dubbed “E”, the smartphone is manufactured by China-based Huaqin Technology and will be sold exclusively by Amazon India. Priced at Rs.7,999 for the 2GB RAM version, the 10.or E will be available in Aim Gold and Beyond Black color options. The 3GB RAM version has been priced at Rs.8,999.
The 10.or E features a large 5.5-inch IPS display with 1080 x 1920 Full HD resolution and 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top. Powering the smartphone is an octa-core Snapdragon 430 chipset from Qualcomm, clocked at 1.5 GHz. As we mentioned above, the company has launched two versions of the smartphone in India – one with 2GB of RAM and the other with 3GB of RAM. The 2GB RAM variant includes 16GB of internal storage while the 3GB RAM variant includes 32GB of built-in storage. A dedicated microSD card slot allows users to expand the storage further by up to 128GB. A circular fingerprint sensor is mounted at the back, below the rear camera lens.
In the camera department, the smartphone features a 13MP primary camera with phase detection autofocus, an f/2.0 aperture lens, and an LED flash. The selfie camera is a 5MP unit with an f/2.0 aperture lens and an LED flash to capture selfies even under low light. Connectivity wise, you get the usual Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 Low Energy, GPS with A-GPS, and 4G VoLTE. A 4000mAh capacity battery keeps the lights on, which is larger than most other smartphones available under the Rs.10k segment, The smartphone will ship with the Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system out of the box and is guaranteed to receive the Android 8.0 Oreo update as well.
