The third-generation FiiO X3 portable music player is now available in India. Fiio has priced the X3 Mark III portable High-Resolution lossless music player at Rs.14,990 in the country. Certified by the Japan Audio Society to be “Hi-Res Audio” capable, the FiiO X3 Mark III is capable of providing a natural and realistic listening experience. It supports a wide range of lossless audio formats such as WAV, APE, WMA, FLAC, ALAC, DSF, as well as DFF at sampling rates and audio bit depths up to 192 kHz/32-bit.
Key features of the X3 Mark III include dual high-performance PCM5242 DACs, Bluetooth 4.1, microSD card slot that accepts up to 256GB microSD cards, Multifunction Line Out/Coaxial Output with support for D2P and DoP, and USB DAC functionality. FiiO claims the player has a battery life of up to 10 hours, which is pretty decent.
In addition to the X3 Mark III, FiiO also launched the F5 in-ear monitors and the i1 lightning amplifier. Priced at Rs.4,999, the F5 earphones are Apple MFi certified and feature an in-line remote control for easy media controls on both iOS as well as Android devices. The F5 uses 13.6mm sized dynamic drivers with an impedance of 32ohms and a frequency response between 20 Hz – 40 kHz.
The FiiO i1 Apple Lightning amplifier is priced at Rs.2,990 and integrates both a DAC and a headphone amplifier. For phone calls, the i1 features a built-in high-sensitivity microphone to make sure your voice is heard clearly on the other end. It also comes with the same button layout as the stock Apple headset, giving you easy controls.
