Jio announces new Diwali Dhan Dhana Dhan offer for Jio Prime users

With Diwali just around the corner, it is raining offers and discounts everywhere. The latest company to enter the offers bandwagon is Jio. The company earlier today announced a brand new offer exclusively for its Jio Prime members. The details of the new offer – called the Jio Diwali Dhan Dhana Dhan offer – were made live on their homepage a few hours ago and were subsequently shared on their social media pages.

The new offer is valid on Jio’s existing ₹399 recharge that offers 1GB of data per day for 84 days, free SMS, subscription to Jio apps and free calls, with a validity of 84 days. The new offer – valid only for recharges done from October 12 to October 18 – will offer customers vouchers worth ₹400 in multiples of ₹50. In all, the customer will receive eight vouchers that can be redeemed at the time of future recharges.

These vouchers can only be redeemed after November 15, and only one voucher can be used at once. With these vouchers, the customer can save ₹50 on each of the next eight recharges made. To cite an example, when the consumer recharges for ₹399 two months down the line, he would only need to pay ₹349 from his account and will receive a ₹50 discount thanks to the voucher.

Note that you can still avail this ₹399 offer if you already have an active plan. The new plan will only activate after your current plan ends. The only requirement, once again, is that you’d have to be a Jio Prime member. You can recharge with the Jio Diwali Dhan Dhana Dhan offer using the My Jio app on your phone or by visiting Other ways to recharge include visiting your nearest Jio Store or, Reliance Digital large-format stores.

Jio is also expected to revise its tariffs after October 18. Currently, there we do not have any details about these new plans. Hours after Jio announced these new plans, Airtel also followed suit and announced a bunch of new plans and offers. You can read about the Airtel offers here.
