One day after Reliance Jio and Airtel announced their respective offers for Diwali, we now have news coming in from state-run mobile carrier BSNL. The company which earlier today also announced plans to increase the minimum broadband speed from 4 Mbps to 10 Mbps has announced the Laxmi promotional offer for its prepaid users.
As part of the new offer, BSNL customers will receive 50 percent extra talk time on top-ups of Rs. 290, Rs. 390, and Rs. 590.
- When you recharge for Rs.290, you will receive talk time worth Rs.435.
- When you recharge for Rs. 390, you will receive talk time worth Rs. 585.
- When you recharge for Rs. 590, you will receive talk time worth Rs. 885.

The Laxmi promotional offer is valid only on recharges of the above values. These plans would be valid for all recharges made from October 16 to October 21.
Announcing the new Laxmi offer, R.K. Mittal, Director (CM) BSNL Board said;
“This offer is being given to our loyal prepaid mobile customers so that they can share their happiness among their friends & relatives during the auspicious occasion of Diwali.”
The announcement of the Laxmi promotional offer comes barely weeks after BSNL announced its ‘Dussehra Vijay’ offer late last month. Back then, the company offered cashback of 50 percent on voice recharges.
