Xiaomi will open its second Mi Home store in Chennai on November 18

Xiaomi recently became the number one smartphone vendor in India thanks to a great third quarter of 2017. The Chinese phone maker currently has the same market share as Samsung has in India. It took Xiaomi a little over three years since its India debut back in 2014 to achieve this remarkable feat. The company has until now been concentrating on its online sales model. However, of late, we have seen several initiatives from aimed at the highly lucrative offline market in India. One such initiative is the new Mi Home stores that have sprung up in several cities across the country. And if we are to believe recent reports, one more such store is set to open in Chennai on November 18, 2017.

Mi Home

This new Mi Home store is all set to come up at the Express Avenue Mall in Royapettah. This,  by the way, is not the first Mi Home store in the city. The first Mi Home store in Chennai opened at Forum Mall in Vadapalani back in September. More such stores are planned across the city in the next few months.

Xiaomi already has several Mi Home stores in Bengaluru, Delhi-NCR, Hyderabad, and Mumbai. The most recent addition to this list was Pune which also now boasts of a Mi Home store. Across India, Xiaomi currently owns 11 Mi Home stores.

The aim of the Mi Home store is to let customers experience Xiaomi products before they buy them. These stores will stock the entire portfolio of Xiaomi products on sale in India. This includes smartphones, power banks, headphones, fitness bands, and air purifiers.

If there was a contest for the guy with the weirdest hobby in town, Rahul would beat everyone hands down. The chap runs a YouTube channel that only has videos of trains passing by. Normally, he is found reviewing gadgets and editing stuff at Gear by MySmartPrice. But we all know he loves the Flying Ranee Express more.
